Durham Marketplace Recognized for Meeting PSNH’s Green Standards
In October of 2010 Durham Marketplace took on a massive multi-thousand dollar project to renovate and update their 43 year old energy inefficient freezer and refrigeration systems. The addition of new state of the art condensers, compressors and LED lighting throughout the new frozen foods section, helped pushed Durham Marketplace to an elite group of environmentally friendly grocery retailers.

Durham Marketplace Donates Freon Detector to Durham Fire Department
In light of the Freon leak that took place at the Durham Marketplace last April, store owner Chuck Cressy and his staff donated a Freon Detector to the Durham Fire Department to better help them determine gas levels if a refrigerant leak were to arise in town again.

As a proud supporter of Special Olympics New Hampshire, Durham Marketplace welcomed the 1,000+ athletes of the 2010 Summer games. For over 15 years, Durham Marketplace has cooked and helped serve the meals for the athletes, coaches and volunteers.
